Facilities

This field is used for softball, baseball, pee wee baseball and our summer park program.
History:
This field has been instrumental in teaching the citizens of Danville all about baseball. In the summer it was used for Leedy ball or now what is referred to as the Summer Park Program. It also is named after a famous professional baseball player that grew up in Danville named "Sam Thompson". We often refer to it as Sam Thompson field.
